  • We have seen salvation obtained by Christ and
released to us through the outpouring of the
Spirit and preaching of the Gospel.
  • The result a multitude of believers represented
by a huge catch of FISH, whose natural
    environment is the water (Spirit).
  • The message of these chapters is how these
believers are delivered from the power of the
enemy and exalted to a place of authority.

  • PISCES, the Fishes, bound to Cetus.
  • The Sign is pictured as two large fishes bound
together by a BAND, fastened to their tails. Fish
picture believers. The fish-tail of CAPRICORNUS
showed them receive new-life from Christs
sacrificial death. This was confirmed in
DELPHINUS, which showed us rising with Christ as
a dolphin springing up out of the sea. Then we
saw the SOUTHERN FISH picturing believers
drinking from the waters of salvation poured
    forth by the ascended Christ.
  • Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.
Evangelism is casting the net of the Gospel into
the sea of the world (Daniel 72, Revelation
    131) and as a result fish (men who believe) are
caught, come out of the world and enclosed into
Gods Kingdom (Matthew 1347-49). John 216 is a
prophecy of the Church-Age He said to them,
Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and
you will find some. So they cast, and now they
were not able to draw it in because of the
multitude of fish. Christians from early times
used a fish to symbolise and identify themselves.

  • Hebrew Dagim THE FISHES, LIKE A MULTITUDE.
  • This word is closely connected with multitudes as
in Genesis 4816 let them grow into a multitude
in the midst of the earth. The margin says
Let them grow as fishes do increase.
  • Ezekiel prophesied It shall be that every
living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go,
will live. There will be a very great multitude
of fish, because these waters go there for they
will be healed, and everything will live wherever
the river (of life) goes (Ezekiel 479).

  • Syriac Nuno THE FISH prolonged (the idea is of
    posterity or successive generations) Thus
believers will continue to multiply and reproduce
down the generation becoming a multitude with
    eternal life.
  • Coptic PI-COT ORION THE FISHES, CONGREGATION,
or COMPANY OF THE COMING PRINCE.
  • In the Denderah Zodiac (from BC 2000), this sign
is called PISCIS HORI THE FISHES OF HIM WHO
    COMES

24

25
The fish belong to King Jesus. This is
confirmed in the Decan, Cepheus the King.
26
  • This sign speaks of the multitudes who will enjoy
the results of the Redeemers work. The smaller
fish is swimming up toward the Pole Star and the
larger fish is swimming at right angles along the
line of the ecliptic toward AQUARIUS. The TWO
fish that are united yet swimming in different
directions may represent ISRAEL (Amos 42,
Jeremiah 1616) and the CHURCH. Abarbanel, a
Jewish writer, says that Pisces has always been
    connected with the Jews.

  • Myths Venus and Cupid were one day on the banks
of the Euphrates and were taken by surprise by
the appearance of the monster Typhon (Cetus). To
save themselves they plunged into the river,
escaping by turning into fishes. To commemorate
this Minerva placed theses two fishes in the
    stars.
  • Actually God put Pisces in the heavens to show
how men can escape the power of satan by
    transformation - becoming fishes (believers).

  • The Vernal Equinox (the start of the year) in the
time from the Exodus to Christ was in Aries
(speaking of the Lamb of God set aside from the
foundation of the world). There was a sacrifice
of a lamb or ram at the opening of the year.
  • At the time of Christ (due to precession, the
wobbling of the earths axis) we entered the Age
of Pisces for now the Equinox is in Pisces.
For now the Lamb of God has been sacrificed we
see the fruit of that which is a multitude of
    believers!
  • After 2000 years we approach a new Age - the Age
of Aquarius, for soon the Equinox will be in
Aquarius. This is apt for the Millennial reign
of Christ will be characterised by the outpouring
of the Spirit where knowledge of the glory of God
will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.

  • DECAN 1. THE BAND that holds the Fishes.
  • The two fish are tied together by another sign,
    THE BAND or ribbon.
  • Arabic AL RISHA THE BAND or BRIDLE
  • The Band is fastened to the neck of Cetus, the
Sea Monster. Above is Andromeda - a captive
woman. Both tell the same story. Mankind has
fallen under the power of sin and satan. But the
Deliverer of both is near, as seen in the Ancient
    Egyptian name U-OR HE COMES.
  • ARIES, the Ram or Lamb, puts his foot down on the
Band and takes control of it. Cetus is under
His feet and now the BAND binds the redeemed to
Christ, with cords of love (Hosea 114, John
    155).

people are united through Christ. Both fishes
are held by Aries. Both Israel and the Church,
Old and New Testament believers are saved through
the sacrifice of the lamb of God. All men were
bound to satan by cords of oppression but now
believers are bound to Christ and each other by
    cords of love.
  • AL SAMACA THE UPHELD (Arabic).
    They are upheld by Aries.
  • Fear not, for I am with you be not dismayed,

  • DECAN 2. ANDROMEDA, the intended Bride chained.
  • A beautiful woman with chains fastened to her
feet and arms, helpless and in trouble and
misery. Hebrew SIRRA THE CHAINED and PERSEA
THE STRETCHED OUT. She is a picture of us before
salvation. As well as fish, Israel and the
Church is often described as a woman, the Bride
    of Christ (Jeremiah 62, Isaiah 2617,18 545,6
    Revelation 121,2,5 2Corinthians 112). This
corresponds to Pisces, the bound fishes. In some
ancient planispheres, the fish had the heads of
women, confirming the identification of the woman
    with the fishes.
  • However she is destined to be delivered and
become Queen (CASSIOPEIA). Thus, in the Denderah
Zodiac she is SET SET UP AS A QUEEN.
Cassiopeia (the enthroned Queen) is even given
the same name. ANDROMEDA is the chained girl
that will become a Bride later, after she is set
    free.

Perseus Andromeda
  • Perseus went on a mission to kill evil Medusa
(satan) who turned mens hearts to stone when
    they looked upon her ugliness.
  • Perseus used his shield as a mirror (saw her
throught the Word) to defeat her and cut off her
head. Her blood fell on the ground and up
sprung Pegasus (the Gospel sprung out of Christs
victory). He mounted Pegasus and flew back with
    Medusas head.

woman (Andromeda) chained to the rocks at Joffa
and a sea monster (Cetus) rapidly coming to
devour her. He comes to the rescue turning the
monster to stone by Medusas head. He rescues
    and marries Andromeda.

power over us, set us free and made us His own.

  • Greek Mythology calls her Andromeda ruler of
men, speaking of the destiny of the Church to
rule and reign with Christ (Matthew 1928,
    1Corinthians 62, Revelation 15,6 Romans 517
Revelation 206). She was the daughter of
Cepheus and Cassiopeia, and destined to be joined
to the evil Phineus in marriage. But Neptune
sent a sea-monster (Cetus) to ravage the country.
This was in response to the complaints of his
    favourite sea-nymphs because Cassiopeia had
proclaimed her and Andromedas beauty as above
theirs. Cepheus the King, was told he could only
avert disaster by sacrificing his daughter
Andromeda to Cetus. The people demanded it so
she was chained to the rocks near Joppa.
Perseus rescued her, killing Cetus and married
her. Likewise we were helpless and doomed to
destruction, but Christ in his love for us and
desire to be betrothed to us, broke us free from
our chains, delivering us from satan, to belong
    to Him.

  • DECAN 3 CEPHEUS, the conquering King.
  • Cepheus wears a royal crown of stars. He is the
glorious King, seated on the throne, the King of
kings and Lord of lords the most High, high in
the heavens with his foot planted on the North
pole-star around which the heavens turn. The
pole-star was originally in Draco because satan
had dominion over men, but from the time of
Christ it is under Cepheus feet (due to
precession). He is a picture of Christ who
having come to earth is exalted and seated at the
right-hand of God (Hebrews 13, Philippians
    29-11, Ephesians 119-23, Colossians 210,
    Zechariah 613).

  • CEPHEUS holds RIBBONS in his right hand. The many
RIBBONS show that he is Lord of the Fish. He
holds the reigns of power. He is here to show
that He is the the Lord and Protector of the
Fishes and having ascended on high He is taking
over the control (Bands) from satan.
  • This is confirmed in the Zodiac of Dendera the
figure is a large front leg of an animal with a
small figure of a sheep, just like Aries. It is
the strong hand of the Lamb of God who takes hold
of the Bands (control) of the Fishes. Thus it
identifies the Glorious King with Aries, the
victorious Lamb, the Lord and Upholder of the
    Fishes.

  • The old Greeks had a triangle above his head

    (Christ is God). Its principal
star means the uplifted showing He is exalted
to the throne. This triangle is also on the

  • In the Myths, Aries was a noble and mysterious
animal given by Nephele for the deliverance of
her two children (like the two fishes), Phrixus
and Helle when their stepmother was to have them
sacrificed to Jupiter. (We were doomed to death
but God provided us a lamb). By sitting on its
back and clinging to its fleece they escaped as
it flew to freedom (a picture of faith. Only by
trusting in the Lamb were they safe. However
one failed to hold on and fell into the sea
(thereby called Hellespont). Prixus held onto
the Lamb and was brought to safety to Colchisthe
citadel of reconciliation, the city of refuge.
The Lamb was sacrificed to Jupiter as those saved
by him would have been without him, as Christ was
sacrificed for us and died in our place. The
skin of this Lamb was the Golden-Fleece which was
considered the highest treasure that could be
found by men. It corresponds to Christs robe
of righteousness which was made available through
sacrifice and those who wear it are greatly
    blessed.

  • In his left hand he carries a head (called Medusa
by the Greeks) but its Hebrew root means the
trodden under foot. The head or brightest star
is called the head of the enemy, satan ROSH
    SATAN (Hebrew)
  • The head is also called AL ONEH THE SUBDUED,
WEAKENED (Arabic) and AL GHOUL the evil spirit.
  • PERSEUS is THE BREAKER (Christ) who flies swiftly
(see the wings on his feet) and cuts off the head
of satan ROSH SATAN (Hebrew), with the Sword of
the Lord. The many snakes coming out of the head
of satan probably depict the demons.
  • The principal star in the head is ALGOL THE
EVIL SPIRIT, ROLLING ROUND, COMING AND GOING.
ALGOL is an eclipsing binary and does wink
    (variable).

  • Myths He was the Son of the divine father, a
great genius and courage-the favourite of gods.
To please the king he promised to bring the head
of Medusa - one of three evil Gorgons. Their
heads were full of serpents -and they could turn
you into stone with just a look. He was given a
mirror (the Word) and a sword. He caught Medusa
by surprise and cut its head off and rose into
the air. By this victory he was rendered
    immortal among the stars.
  • On way home he saw Andromeda, chained to the
rocks, killed the sea-monster with his sword and
released her. At the Wedding Feast, Phineus
attacked the happy couple but Perseus pulled the
Medusa head and turned all his forces into stone.
They had many worthy children and he brought
many blessing to the countries that honoured him.
