Offensive Zone Puck Movement Emphasis
Receiving/Passing in One Motion, Shooter High in
Slot, Quick Release Offensive Player starts,
with puck at hash mark, passes puck to the player
at left defense, follows his pass and replaces
that player. Left Defense passes to Right
Defense, follows his pass and replaces that
player. Right Defense passes to the Center,
follows his pass and replaces that player. The
Center passes to the Right Wing, follows his pass
and replaces that player. The Right Wing shoots
on net.

Passing/Receiving in Stride, Drive to Net, Third
Man High Defenseman stops behind the net with the
puck. His partner slides into his own corner.
The center circles deep in the opposite corner,
the Winger breaks off the boards to the middle
lane, the defenseman steps out from behind the
net and passes to the Winger before the
hashmarks. The Center continues up the outside
lane. The Puck Carrier passes to the Winger in
the outside lane and they both drive to the net,
with the weak side winger positioning himself in
the high slot.

Passing Coach dumps puck behind goal line, 1st
Player carries the puck behind the net for
protection, the 2nd Player positions himself off
the near goalpost, the 1st Player banks puck off
boards towards the goal line at the bottom of the
circle on the side he came from, 2nd Player
retrieves puck, turns up ice and hits the 3rd
Player in stride with pass.

Supporting Teammates, One Touch Passing Coach
dumps puck into corner, 1st Defenseman reads that
he can not get to behind the net for protection,
he passes to 2nd Defenseman off boards behind the
net, Center supports 2nd Defenseman by circling
across hash marks, 2nd Defenseman r takes a
couple of strides and hits Center in stride with
pass, Center does a give go with Winger, all
three forwards cross near blue line at the same
time.

5 on 3 in Zone Emphasis One Touch
Receiving/Passing, Moving to an Opening,
Defensive Rotation The five offensive players
attempt to keep possession of the puck by moving
to openings and one touch receiving/passing to
and from each other until they create a scoring
opportunity. The defensive players utilize a
rotating triangle formation to attempt keep the
Offensive Players and puck outside of the Slot,
minimize scoring opportunities and gain control
of the puck. The Defensive Players must move in
straight lines, and stop start, if they loop
they will get caught out of position
