• Biological Abstracts is the prominent publication
  of BIOSIS.
• BIOSIS delivers flexible information services
  through different databases. The Biological
  Abstract is one amongst them.
• In order to serve the faculty and research
  community in the area of Life sciences,
  Biological Abstracts database is subscribed and
  provided access to 50 universities to start with.
• It contains articles from journals all around the
  world, and cover topics in every life sciences
  discipline.
• With different search facilities one can find
  concise and precise information quickly and
  efficiently.
• Biological Abstracts adds over 4 lakhs new
  citations every year, 90 of new citations
  contains abstracts by authors and, from the
  archival point of view 7.7 million records are
  available.
• The access to Biological Abstracts is available
  both, by Online through Internet as well as on
  CD-ROM which can be accessed on Intranet of each
  university.
• The coverage of access is from 1969- onwards.
• INFLIBNET will maintain one print copy provided
  free by publisher.
