• Dilution is important part of fine particle
  emission measurements
• For cases with a lot of condensable matter or
  high sulphur content, nucleation may occur
• Nucleation tendency determines the number of fine
  particle emissions
• Goal to understand how nucleation occurs in a
  diluter
• Another goal Understand something about the
  effect of turbulent mixing (esp. micro-mixing) on
  aerosol dynamics
