  • Entries guide
  • The days schedule will be organised into three
    divisions
  • Adaptive events will be offered in all boat
    categories. Please contact Regatta Secretary.
  • Veteran events will (if appropriate) be raced on
    a handicap basis.
  • The suggested plan for events is as follows,
    subject to final entries when changes may be made
    at the discretion of the organising committee.

All doubling (competitors and equipment) to be
notified to the Regatta Secretary at the time of
entry. Please note that doubling within a
division of either competitors, boats or
equipment is not allowed and is at your own risk.
Any questions should be directed to the Regatta
Secretary.

  • Please provide a rapid response contact phone

  • Entries close at 2200 on Thursday, July 31st and
    must be submitted in writing via OARA, e-mail or
    post (only those that arrive on time will be
    accepted).
  • Please state status and age group of crews, and
    state clearly if not prepared to compete in a
    higher status or a higher age (junior) or lower
    age (veteran) event.

  • Conditions
  • The Regatta is open to all Club and Composite
    crews and is held under ARA Rules of Racing.
  • Events, and entry fees are as listed herein and
    are available on OARA.
  • Every effort shall be made to accommodate the
    Adaptive entries. Please contact the Regatta
    Secretary for specific requirements.
  • Competitors must provide their own boats and
    oars. Committee boats for adaptive rowers may be
    available but must be requested at the time of
    entry.
  • Coxes requiring dead weight must bring their own
    clearly identifiable weights.
  • The draw will take place at 18 Langton Avenue,
    Billingham, Stockton-on-Tees, TS22 5DU,
    commencing on 2nd August at 1000.
  • Draw to be published by Tuesday, August 4th 2007
    on the Tees Rowing Club website,
    www.teesrowingclub.co.uk. Hard copies of the
    draw shall be sent to the notified primary
    contact of each competing club.
  • All doubling (competitors and equipment) to be

  • The Committee reserve the right to alter the list
    of entries to make appropriate amendments should
    it be in the best interests of the racing. Every
    reasonable effort shall be made to ensure all
    entries get a race.
  • Crews who change status on Saturday August 2nd or
    Sunday August 3rd should inform the Regatta
    Secretary by 2100 of the same day by phone or
    e-mail. Providing there is the event, crews
    shall be then entered in the next highest status
    event. Please inform the Regatta Secretary at
    time of entry if a change in status is a
    possibility.
  • Junior A and B statuses may be combined in a
    given event if insufficient entries are received
    in either.
  • A minimum of 3 entries from two different clubs
    are required for an event to be held. If
    insufficient entries are received, the entries
    will be placed in the next age group or status
    group for the class of boat unless an alternative
    is clearly stated. The Entries Secretary will
    endeavour to contact Club Secretaries and
    Teachers i/c of Rowing to resolve any
    difficulties. Please provide quick phone/fax
    numbers, for daytime and evening for this
    purpose. Entrants for Junior events should
    indicate if they are willing to be moved to a
    Senior Category as an alternative if there is
    insufficient entries in their nominated junior
    event.
  • All boats must be fitted with a plastic number
    plate fitting, to slot numbers on the bows.
  • Competitors must be at the start 2 minutes before
    the time of the race. Every reasonable effort
    will be made to ensure everyone races but the
    umpires will be strict with the times, and crews
    who are not there on time will be disqualified.
  • There will be presentation pewter prizes for all
    events.
