• As we all already know, the growing demand of
  paper by our society has originated, in its
  development, a series of negative impacts on the
  environment (forest and aquatic resources, water
  contamination and air pollution) at the same time
  as excessive spending of energy resources.

PROCESS DEVELOPMENT

• In this chapter, we are going to describe the
  different phases in the recycling process in the
  same way as we are doing in the IES Gonzalo de
  Berceo.
• The paper used as raw material comes from
  the school, lets say from the office, exam
  tests, thrown away notebooks, etc.

own human and material resources, in such a way
than its negative influence on the environment is
minimum

In the same way we pretend to encourage our
students

• To teamwork putting aside individual work.
• To instil security and hygienic habits when
  working (aprons, helmets, gloves, extractors)
• To make them think that the fact that individual
  actions on your next environment contribute to
  the global one, not only at the present moment
  but also in the future.
• To recycle and reuse different types of
  materials, objects, instruments of common use,
  which have been thrown away.

• In order to minimize these problems and to
  contribute to the sustainable development, which
  is not incompatible with the development of the
  present society, we have taken up a new program
  of recycling paper.
• The Physics and Chemistry Department with the
  ideas of Raul Tejada Palacios, in collaboration
  with José Manuel Rincón and Manuel Moreno and the
  third of ESO have started a recycling paper
  process.

• The process of recycling paper, which takes place
  in this school, is opened to the entire society.
  Other schools visit us from Alfaro and from other
  towns. Housewives and retired people associations
  also arrive in order to get to know about the
  recycling paper process. Our intentions are that
  a great number of citizens get involved in giving
  some solutions to the environmental problems.
