  • We will cover the majority of Chapter 1 5 as
    well as some supplemental materials. In
    completing this course you can expect to have
    done the following
  • Develop and apply critical thinking skills
  • Develop facility with symbolic representations
    and apply them in solving applied problems
  • Use active verbs for higher level intellectual
    functions

Attendance Policy
  • If you use attendance as part of the students
    grade, be specific. For example
  • Regular prompt attendance in class is very
    important for your success in this class.
    However, attendance is not used in the
    calculation of your grade

Withdrawal Policy
  • Announce your withdrawal policy. For example
  • If you wish to drop this class you must initiate
    the process using the SMART system. Students
    will not be automatically dropped for missing
    class
  • Students who have missed more than 6 hours of
    class will be dropped from the class unless they
    demonstrate ability to be successful

    might want to duplicate yours on green with 3
    holes punched.
  • Double check to make sure that your syllabi are
    consistent with the official course outline.
