    Payroll/Personnel System (CIPPS) Leave

Items of Interest
  • Leave/Time Sheet reporting is deadline driven
  • Both are due by NOON on the first workday
    following end of pay period
  • Pay periods are from the 25th to the 9th
  • And the 10th to the 24th
  • Compensatory Time will be lost one year from date
    earned
  • Over-Time Payout-after March 9
  • Strongly encouraged to use (Part of Jan and all
    of February)
  • Supervisors are to monitor that employees are
    using
  • There are some NEW codes for leave-(to be
    discussed later)
  • School leave is now considered with Community
    Service and the code is CS

  • Insufficient leave will cause system to draw from
    another acceptable balancechaining
  • If persistent, time sheets may be returned for
    correcting
  • Annual leave excess will be lost on January 9,
    except for college presidents and 12 month faculty

  • New ON-LINE Time Attendance/Leave Reporting form
    (provisions made for non-On-Line users)
  • Please submit leave/time attendance per pay
    period however, supervisors still need to
    verbally approve leave in advance whenever
    possible

  • Do NOT write in any shaded areas
  • Enter name/office on Jan 10-24 sheet and then on
    NO other sheet
  • Employees working hours other than 8.3 and
    6.8see me for time sheet modifications
