DEFENSE CENTRAL INDEX OF INVESTIGATIONS
- DCII Enhancement will be released Monday,
February 6, 2006. This memo is being sent to
provide you the most current procedures required
for accessing and logging on to DCII Enhancement
and developing a System Access Request (SAR). - The following procedures should be used to access
and log on to DCII -
- Access DCII using https//dcii.dsis.dod.mil/dciiw
eb (No SmartPass Required) - Use your existing User ID and your SSN as your
password to logon to DCII (your SSN is a default
password for initial logon ONLY). - At the prompt, change your password (your
account will lock if your password has not been
changed within 72 hours from the date the system
is released). - If your user account is locked, contact your
Site Administrator to unlock your account. - If your Site Administrator account is locked,
contact the DoD Security Services Center at
1-888-282-7682 to unlock the account

DEFENSE CENTRAL INDEX OF INVESTIGATIONS
- All users are required to submit a new System
Access Request (SAR). - The following procedures should be used to
develop a new SAR - Site Administrators and users may access the SAR
form from - http//www.dss.mil//infoutl/dciisar.com
- Site Administrators may access the SAR Status
Report from - http//www.dss.mil//infoutl/sar_status_report.xls
- Users should complete and sign the SAR form and
return it to the Site Administrator (Site
Administrators should establish a repository for
user SARS - DO NOT send user SARs to DSS). -

- Site Administrators will add user information to
the SAR Status Report and send the report to DSS
at account.request_at_dss.mil no later than March 6,
2006. - Site Administrators should complete, sign and
return their SAR form to DSS at
account.request_at_dss.mil no later than February
13, 2006 - Site Administrators may also fax their SAR to
614-827-1544, Attention Customer Service - A copy of the DCII Users Guide may be accessed
upon logon to DCII.
