Aims

• Overall aims of the project
• To promote a co-ordinated inter agency approach
  to tackling the employment needs of offenders
• To give particular consideration to the needs of
  women, ethnic minorities and young people
• To develop a mechanism (that can be applied to
  all EU states) that will enable the key partners
  to develop and implement comprehensive and
  systemic responses to the needs of unemployed
  offenders

• the key components of successful employment
  programmes for offenders
• successful strategies for engaging with employers
• how best to engage with women, ethnic minority

  monitoring systems
• how to establish baseline data relating to the
  numbers of ex-offenders across Europe
