8Paradigm II Architecture in Action
9Paradigm II Launcher
Launcher Launcher is the gateway to all of the
Paradigm II modules and functions. It
periodically checks for Action Items and displays
a pop-up message should one arise. All the
while, no concurrent user license is occupied.
Secure Software Users log into the software using
a secure password to enable traceability and
accountability
10Paradigm II Administrator
Administrator Interface Administrator controls
all user accounts, permissions, organizational
structure and distribution lists.
11Kernel Interface Kernel is the document control
and management module. It allows users a quick
and easy way to refer to current documentation,
raise forms, review databases, etc.
Paradigm II Kernel
Documents Documents remain in their original
format when they are imported into Paradigm.
This means that users will be able to use their
existing skills and software for document
management and editing.
12Paradigm II Kernel
Document History Changes to all documents within
Paradigm are tracked in a comprehensive History
for each document or record. Evidence of reviews
and approvals are also tracked in an Action Item
log for each item
13Paradigm II Kernel
Master Forms Master electronic form templates can
be stored and used within the Paradigm Kernel.
These can be master forms or document templates.
Open forms/new documents can be raised with one
click of a button. The form/document opens
directly on the screen, using the host program
that the form was designed in. (Word, Excel,
etc.) It can then be filled out within Paradigm,
or saved to an offline device for later use.
14Resources Cabinet Interface The Resources Cabinet
is the records management module of Paradigm II.
It stores any type of desired information. Forms
are customizable to suit the needs of virtually
any company.
Paradigm II Resources Cabinet
Easy Categorization of Records Users can
categorize records by the type of information
they wish to track. This allows for easy sorting
of records and fast retrieval. The Cabinet is
capable of retaining several different types of
forms.
15Paradigm II Improvement Generator
Improvement Generator Interface The Improvement
Generator stores process oriented information
relating to customer complaints, corrective
actions, audit nonconformances and other
sequential processes.
Easy Categorization of Records Users can
categorize records by the type of improvement
that is required within the system. This allows
for easy sorting of records and quicker retrieval.
16Paradigm II Improvement Generator
Key Information Details Users can assign a
record to the responsible person(s), enter a
detailed description and specify a final due date
for full completion of the record. Action Item
notifications trigger the rest of the process.
Additional Information Users can specify
additional details to further clarify the type of
record being raised and by whom. Fields within
this tab can be easily customized to suit your
companys specific needs.
17Paradigm II Improvement Generator
Corrective/Preventive Action Paradigm will
sequentially notify responsible persons of each
applicable task. When the task is completed, the
Finish button locks the form and passes
responsibility on to the next individual.
18Paradigm II Action Items
Action Item Pop-Up Paradigm will automatically
notify all personnel with an Action Item pop-up
prompt each time they open the software or log
into Windows. Action Items can also be received
via company e-mail.
19Paradigm II Action Items
Action Item Module Users can choose to all view
open items, completed items or a list of all
items. They address them by double-clicking the
desired Action Item Header, opening a more
detailed Action Item view.
20Paradigm II Action Items
Action Items Users can read all applicable
details and instructions pertaining to the task
requested by the Action Item. The SHOW ME button
takes the user directly to the associated item
for viewing/editing.
21Secure Web Software Users must log into the
software to enable traceability and
accountability. The username can also be
synchronized with the network for more
convenience and faster performance.
Paradigm II ActiveNET
ActiveNET Web CLient Application Allows users all
of the basic client software functionality via
the web and requires no workstation level
software installations of any kind. It simply
works with Internet Explorer 5.0 or Netscape 6.
