To make SHORTBREAD cookies, you need

Powdered Sugar 1 cup
White Flour 3 cups
Butter (at room temperature) 2 cups

MixMaster
Mixing bowls (2)
Flour sifter

• Cookie cutters

• Rolling Pin

• Baking sheet (pan)

To make SHORTBREAD

• STEP 1 - WHIP Butter with Mixmaster
• 1 pound of butter (2 cups)
• Place in mixing bowl and whip until fluffy

• STEP 2 - Sift Flour and Sugar
• Using sifter, SIFT 3 cups of flour AND 1 cup of
  powdered sugar 3 times into ANOTHER mixing bowl.

• STEP 3 - Mix all ingredients
• Add FLOUR mixture to BUTTER and MIX well (at
  medium-high speed)

• STEP 4 - Roll Dough
• Remove dough from bowl.
• Place on floured surface
• Roll out using rolling pin to 1/4 inch thick

• STEP 5 - Cut shapes
• Cut out shapes with cookie cutters

• STEP 6 - Place Cookies
• Place on floured baking sheet (pan).

• STEP 7 - Bake
• Place in oven preheated to 375º F
• Bake for 6-8 minutes until light gold in color
