Design Changes

• The bulk material transporter was originally
  planned to be controlled by an umbilical cord,
  but was later changed to a remote control.
• Originally the BMT was to use a 90 degree shaft
  to direct propulsion. After the shaft
  malfunctioned we improvised on a straight drive
  system.
• Instead of the two rear wheels as the main
  propulsion they were used for climbing purposes
  only. Then the 4-wheel platform was used as the
  main propulsion of the design.

Basic Design

• The rice is deposited through a hopper-tube set
  up. Using the force of gravity the rice will exit
  through a controlled valve unit.

Budget

• The original budget was set as low as possible
  until certain parts which we were relying on
  being loaned to us did not get loaned to us.

Results

• All goals were accomplished that were projected
  except being able to climb the stairs.
• The BMT Turned 360 degrees.
• Went forward and reverse.
• Dumped rice.

• Entire group worked together in efforts to
  complete the Bulk Material Transporter.
• Hard work and team work really paid off.
