Introduction

• This workshop is to discuss the impact on a
  family which has a trans family member. This can
  be either a partner, parent or child of a trans
  person.
• Also this discussion can include other family
  members and friends of a trans person.

Group Discussion-Objectives

• Agree some ground rules for discussions to ensure
  individual experiences are respected and
  confidential.
• Identify the group objectives for this workshop
• Jointly discuss within the group the issues a
  trans person has on a family.

Group Discussion-Feedback

• Capture discussion issues raised within the
  group.
• List a number of recommendations from the
  workshop discussion

Group Discussion-Action Plan

• From the recommendations, develop a support plan
  including actions, ownership and timescales.
• Jointly agree a way forward
• Implement plan as part of Equality South West
  Strategy
