About Fried Rice

• Fried rice is made with rice, vegetables such as
  peas, carrots and green onion. What makes fried
  rice different then regular rice is that there is
  cooked egg in the rice. The rice is usually
  combined in a wok and soy sauce is added.
• Rice is not just Chinese cuisine but it is also
  made in Japanese and other Asian cultures.
• Fried rice orientated because they would take all
  the leftovers in woks and put them in the rice.
  If there is also meat or seafood, it is put into
  the rice, for example if you add shrimp the
  rice's name changes to shrimp fried rice.
• The method of cooking the rice is not deep frying
  or stir frying, it is left to cook slowly in
  little oil.
