investigate whether the implementation of
education for nurses about Kangaroo Care (K Care)
would increase the practice of K Care to manage
thermoregulation. BACKGROUND The current
practice at our institution for managing newborn
thermoregulation is the use of a radiant warmer
in the newborn nursery. This practice separates
newborns from their mothers. A group of
mother-baby nurses, who were interested in
decreasing the length of time babies are
separated from their mothers, formed an
