Steps you need to take.
  • Sign up for the SAT/ACT.
  • Take a full course load of rigorous classes.
  • See your teachers about recommendation letters.
  • Visit prospective schools.

Applying to College
  • After you have chosen your schools, the process
    is simple.
  • AUGUST 2003
  • Complete an Application.
  • Applications are available online, or in the
    guidance office.

  • Take Completed application into the Guidance
    office and hand it to the secretary.
  • The secretary records that you have dropped off
    the application, photocopies your transcript,
    SAT/ACT scores and letters of recommendation if
    necessary.
  • She then types out two envelopes attaches them to
    your packet and gives it to your counselor.

  • The Counselor then reviews the application,
    fills out their portion of the application.
  • The Counselor then takes all official
    documents(SAT/ACT Scores/ Transcripts
    Recommendation Letters and SEALS them in the
    small white envelope.
  • The Counselor then places the small white
    envelope into the yellow envelope and returns it
    to the secretary.

  • The student is then notified that the application
    packet is completed. Usually within 5 days.
  • The student then adds any additional
    information(Essay, Check, ETC ) into the larger
    envelope and mails them.
  • The student patiently awaits to here from the
    schools.

  • 1200 SAT or 27 ACT. (Scores may be combined.)

  • Rank to 5 of the class at end of Junior or
    Sophomore Year.

    study toward baccalaureate at participating
