• Thunderstorm- is disturbance in the earths
  atmosphere that involves lightning, and thunder.
• Funnel Cloud rapidly rotating cloud that
  becomes visible at the base of a thundercloud
• Tornado- is a violent windstorm that spirals
  around a rotating column of air (the vortex) of
  intense low pressure and moves in a narrow path
  over the land. (a funnel cloud when it makes
  contact with the ground)
• Tornado 2 rotating column of air that forms
  from thunderstorms over dry land under special
  conditions when moist warm air meets cool dry
  air head on

• Hurricane-is a massive, rotating storm that
  originates over tropical oceans and has sustained
  winds of more than 119 km per hour.
• Typhoon Hurricane that forms north of the
  equator in the western Pacific Ocean
• Cyclone Hurricane that forms in the Indian
  Ocean or off the coast of Australia
• Eye wall ring of spiraling clouds and
  thunderstorms that whirl around the storms
  center and extend upward to almost 15 km above
  sea level.
• Vortex Is the movement of a liquid or gas in a
  spiral around a central axis
