Adverbs tell us how something is done.
They either describe verbs You spoke
wonderfully! They will listen patiently. Or
adjectives or adverbs They are horribly
poor. She left extremely quickly.

5Watch out for tricky adverbs! Translate
1. Tein kovasti työtä.
I worked hard.

enough comes before nouns, but after adjs/advs
7. Se on niin vaikea.
Its so difficult.
8. Se on niin komea mies.
Hes such a handsome man
niin is so when it describes adjs/advs, and
such when it describes a noun.
6Adverbs are often used to emphasise adjectives or
other adverbs
Its by far the hardest.
Shes exceptionally clever.
Im not in the least interested.
Theyre extremely good.
These are very useful words, and worth learning!
