Measuring the Success ofthe Regional Councils

In accordance with the Small Business Act, it is
the policy of the Federal Government to aid,
assist, and counsel small business to assure that
a fair share of contracts are awarded to small
business. Consistent with this, it is the policy
of the Department of Defense to sponsor Regional
Councils as one significant way to air, assist,
and counsel small businesses through education,
and advocacy of its members who are charged with
the responsibility of fulfilling this Federal
policy.
