NMMS Document Update

• Updating documents for Baseline 2 as needed
• Detailed design is in progress and should be
  complete by Sept 2007
• Use cases and test cases have been developed and
  are being modified
• Most Test scripts are developed
• Installation procedures in progress (issues with
  installation script documented back to Siemens)

CIM Update

• ERCOT Net CIM ready for any MP to transfer
• File has been sent to ERCOT vendors that require
  importer development
• ERCOT CIM will continue to be updated as AREVA
  data is converted to CIM format
• ERRCOT CIM development scheduled to be completed
  in 1Q2008
• Legal has developed a generic NDA for MPs that
  are interested in obtaining the file (35 mbs
  zipped)
• Contact ERCOT wholesale client service rep for
  more information
• CIM user conference being held at ERCOT in
  October 2007. If your company is interested in
  attending please send an email to ERCOT
• ERCOT has noticed that many QSEs have no
  experience with CIM. If QSE is planning to work
  with vendors for CIM importer ERCOT can assist

• Development
• Phase 1a completed and deployed in June 2007
• Phase 1b FAT completed in August 2007
• A couple critical defects found. Siemens
  scheduled conference call with ERCOT to address
  defects this week
• Phase 1b will only be completed after all
  critical defects are solved
• Phase 1c FAT scheduled in September 2007
• Data Management and reconciliation
• Settlement Price point rules drafted and list to
  be developed for end of August TPTF review
• List of Electrical Bus names being developed with
  TSPs presently. Scheduling to complete by end of
  September
• Data loading into NMMS in October/November 2007

NMMS Planning

• Lots of work is planned for next 6 months
• NMMS Development completion
• NMMS Training for QSE complete (4Q2007) by
  training group
• NMMS addl training for TSPs 4Q2007 by 4Q2007
• NMMS data mgmt and reconciliation complete by
  3Q2007
• NMMS Market testing and trials starting in 4Q2007
• NMMS testing with EMS/MMS starting in 4Q2007
• ERCOT has brought in temp staff to handle current
  ERCOT workload so that most of ERCOT network
  modeling staff can work on NMMS (as planned)
• TSPs and QSEs that are planning to use CIM data
  should be working on comparable solutions at this
  point as well
