Subjects

• Every sentence must have a subject.
• A subject is a noun or a pronoun.
• A noun names a person, place, or thing.
• A pronoun takes the place of a noun.

• Common nouns arent capitalized apple, girl,
  fun, etc.

• Pronouns substitute for nouns.

• Besides a subject, sentences need verbs to
  express ideas.
• Action verbs show movement.
• Eat, come, consider, write
• Linking verbs tell states/senses

• The object is the last main sentence part.

• They receive the action of the verb
