4General Ideas
- What is the Lease Program?
- The lease program is designed to provide the
highest computing power and reliability at least
costs. Additionally, it was intended to provide
a flat, annual fee that would enable county CES
offices and Governments to plan accurately for
computing expenditures. It essentially funnels
all of the burden of identifying needs, planning
for upgrades, tracking software licenses, and a
host of other concerns, to a single task that
occurs once every 3 years
5General Ideas
- Furthermore
- The Lease solution provides for an annual fee
which includes procurement, shipping, licenses
for software, hardware support repair, helpdesk
services, network connectivity, and training (see
AgIT website). Orders are processed 4 times per
year at the beginning of each calendar quarter.
