2. Analysis of N-ID Activity

• ITU-T Initiates N-IDs related standard
  activities
• N-IDs JCA
• Several Study Groups are working now
• SG 13
• SG 16
• SG 17
• Actively contributed and leaded by Japan-Korea
• But mostly stay on Requirements aspects in
  different two groups not enough get focus and
  weaken activities (Slow and Delay)

Need one step forward both technology and
collaboration

3. One Step forward in Technology

• Finish Requirements study as early as possible
• Initiate Functional Architecture work as soon
  as possible
• Identify Functional Architecture Models NGN
  based and Non-NGN based and others
• Identify Service/Network capabilities NGN based
  and Non-NGN based and others
• Identify Gaps between current available
  standards and Requirements, Architecture and
  Capabilities

• Requirements in SG13 and SG16 would be good,
  but what are differences and especially benefits
• Identify what is a target technical vision from
  CJK

4. One Step forward in Collaboration

• Finish Exchange information as early as
  possible This will Continue to develop
  service scenarios and business models to
  encourage CJK members businesses
• Identify position and role of CJK meeting
• in ITU-T, all of contributions came from CJK
  with technical experts
• in CJK meeting, only information and general
  issues with high level managements

• CJK N-ID WG should be facilitating platform or
  not (?)
• Not so high expectation to make Focus Group on
  N-IDs
• Even so, CJK should be major contributors

5. Conclusion

• CJK is the major Player in ITU-T N-IDs
  Activity, but major role is Feeder
• CJK members contribute ITU-T should stay only
  in Requirements level, but others
• Our common goal and target vision is not yet
  clear, but until when
