• Born in poverty.
• When young, drew cartoons.
• Went to art school August 1858.
• Became Impressionist painter around the age of
  32.
• Died on Dec.5,1926 at age of 85.

• 1890s, painted haystacks, poplars, and cathedral
  façades.
• Many times, used sand to accent paintings.
• When painted, used wet-on-wet .
• When didnt paint, used pastels.
• When young, drew cartoons with big heads and big
  noses.

My Opinion of Claude Monet

• Personally, I think Monet is an amazing artist.
• His Impessionist paintings have good quality and
  are appealing to the eye, which leads me to
  believe that is why others love his work as well.
