3
WARNINGS
  • OPERATORS OF THE OXYTRONIC 600 NEED TO BE
    CERTIFIED GAS BLENDERS
  • READ THE MANUAL BEFORE USING THE SYSTEM
  • THE OPERATOR MUST STAY IN VISUAL RANGE OF THE
    SYSTEM
  • THE MAXIMUM OXYGEN PERCENTAGE IS 40
  • OXYTRONIC 600 MUST BE MAINTAINED BY AUTHORIZED
    AND TRAINED PERSONNEL

  • ADVANTAGES OF SYSTEM

6
ADVANTAGES OF SYSTEM
  • OXYTRONIC 600 HAS A MAXIMUM APPLICATION OF 600L
    PER MINUTE
  • NO WASTAGE OF OXYGEN
  • LOW PRESSURE BLENDING MINIMIZES THE NEGATIVE
    AFFECTS OF REAL GAS LAWS
  • SIMPLE SWITCHING BETWEEN BLENDS
  • NO O2 CLEAN EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
  • NO WASTAGE OF REMAINING GASES IN USED TANKS
  • BLENDS CAN BE USED IMMEDIATELY. NO NEED TO WAIT
  • EXTREMELY ACCURATE BLENDS CAN BE ACHIEVED

FEATURES OVERVIEW
  • ACCUTRONIC INTELLIGENT SENSOR
  • MAXIMUM PERCENTAGE SAFETY LIMITER
  • MIXING RANGE ALARM
  • NO FLOW ALARM
  • MECHANICAL GAS VALVE
  • EASY TO READ DISPLAY

9
ACCUTRONIC INTELLIGENT SENSOR
  • The lifespan of the oxygen sensor can be
calibrated and checked by the user frequently
    ensuring constantly accurate blends

10
MAXIMUM PERCENTAGE SAFETY LIMITER
  • The User can program the Oxytronic 600 with a
maximum allowable percentage for oxygen in the
mix which ensures very high safety levels when
    blending with oxygen

11
MIXING RANGE ALARM
  • A red LED alarm controls the mixing range of the
Oxytronic 600 and will light up when the set
    percentage varies by 1

12
NO FLOW ALARM
  • The power supply of the Oxytronic 600 can be
connected to your compressor ensuring that NO
oxygen flows when your compressor is not running,
ensuring maximum safety and economy of gases
  • A green LED will light up showing the NO flow
    alarm

13
MECHANICAL GAS VALVE
  • A mechanical control valve at the entry point to
the Oxytronic 600 allows the user to control gas
flow even when the oxygen tanks are in a
different room from the facility where the
    compressor is installed

14
EASY TO READ DISPLAY
  • The large easy to read LCD and alarm lights of
the Oxytronic 600 facilitate usage and control of
the system, allowing the user to carry on with
other tasks while remaining in close proximity to
    the system
  • THE USER MUST REMAIN IN
  • VISUAL RANGE AT ALL TIMES

87
OPERATINGPROCEDURES
  • NOTE
  • IF A POWER FAILURE OCCURS, THE COMPRESSOR MUST BE
RESTARTED BEFORE THE O2 CAN BE BLED FROM THE
SYSTEM DUE TO THE NO FLOW SAFETY SYSTEM

88
OPERATINGPROCEDURES
  • ANOMALIES IN GAS BLENDING
  • DUE TO RELATIVE HUMIDITY, THE ACTUAL ATMOSPHERIC
O2 PERCENTAGE MAY NOT BE 20.9
  • PLEASE REFER TO COMPENSATION CHART IN
    INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR MORE INFORMATION

89
OPERATINGPROCEDURES
  • ANOMALIES IN GAS BLENDING
  • DUE TO THE MECHANICAL AFFECT OF THE COMPRESSOR
COMPRESSING GASES, THE OUTPUT O2 WILL BE
DIFFERENT FROM THE INPUT O2 (BY AS MUCH AS A FEW
). TO COMBAT THIS A SECOND IN-LINE O2 SENSOR CAN
BE INSTALLED ON YOUR FILLING PANEL OR COMPRESSOR.
THIS WILL ALLOW FOR A MORE ACCURATE BLENDS

90
COLTRI SUB
  • SOFTWARE

91
BLENDINGSOFTWARE
  • THE OXYTRONIC 600 COMES SUPPLIED WITH AN EASY TO
    USE EXCEL FORMAT BLENDING CALCULATOR
  • PLEASE LOOK AT THE FILE CALLED NITROX SOFTWARE.xls

92
BLENDINGSOFTWARE
  • LINE 1 CONTAINS INFORMATION REGARDING THE
    REMAINING GASES IN THE TANK
  • LINE 2 CONTAINS INFORMATION REGARDING THE DESIRED
    FILL OF THE TANK
  • LINE 4 HAS THE ANSWERS TO OUR CALCULATIONS
  • IF YOU STARTING FROM SCRATCH WITH AN EMPTY TANK,
THEN PLEASE ENSURE THAT LINE 1 IS EMPTY

93
BLENDINGSOFTWARE
  • THIS EXAMPLE ASSUMES THAT YOU ARE BLENDING A TANK
WHICH HAS REMAINING GAS IN IT
  • LINE 1- THE TANK HAS 100BAR OF NITROX 32
    REMAINING
  • LINE 2- YOU REQUIRE 220BAR OF NITROX 36
  • LINE 4- YOU ARE REQUIRED TO FILL AT NITROX 39 TO
    ACHIEVE YOUR BLEND
  • YOU MAY ALSO ENTER THE SIZE OF THE TANK IN LINE 3
    DEPENDING ON YOUR NEEDS
