America (Canada)

Plants and Animals
  • Some plants in the tundra are lichens, mosses,
    sedges, perennial forbs, dwarfed shrubs, cotton
    grass, and cushion plants
  • Some mammals are arctic fox, caribou, musk ox
  • Some bird are gyrfalcon, ruddy turnstone, and a
    snowy owl

  • Water there are dotted bogs and pond
  • Soil is permafrost, permanent ice within a meter
    of the surface
