    General Management Subdistrict (M-GN) to
    Commercial Industrial Development Subdistrict
    (D-CI)
  • Proposed rezone would allow development of secure
    Construction and Demolition Debris (CDD)
    landfill
  • Landfill would consist of seven cells, each 2.6
    acres. Total landfill impact to be approximately
    18 acres
  • Landfill will be lined to collect and treat
    leachate
  • Approximately 5 miles from existing, non-secure,
    site which is nearly at capacity

  • The group feels that have much information to
    share with the LURC Commissioners to help them
    make a decision on this matter

Staff Recommendation
Due to the Clean Water Coalitions statement that
they have members who are abuttors or live nearby
and would be affected by the proposal, staff
recommends the Commission grant the request for
intervenor status.
