3Before You Log into Hyperion for the first time
- Make sure you are an administrator on your
desktop PC. - Add the new server as a trusted site to your
Internet Explorer browser. - To check to see if youre an Administrator
- Go to the Start menu and select Settings
Control Panel or just Control Panel. - Windows XP

4To check to see if youre an Administrator (

- Double click User Accounts icon to view your
account properties.
If your User Name is NOT listed in Administrators
group, please request your technical support
staff to modify it to administrator.
5To add Hyperion server as a trusted site
- To enable Internet Explorer to recognize the
Hyperion server as a Trusted site, please follow
the next steps - Select and copy the following link onto the
clipboard - https//reporting.drexel.edu/
- Go to Tools, Select Internet Options
- Select the Security Tab then click Trusted sites

- In the trusted sites window Paste
https//reporting.drexel.edu - Click Add and OK
NOTE The website address has been added to the
list of trusted sites.
7Important Information about logging in to Hyperion
- The new Hyperion is at the same address as the
old version http//www.drexel.edu/reporting -

To log in, use your DrexelOne username
password. This
is a change to the prior version.

- Right click on the information bar and select
Install ActiveX Control.

- Click Install.
- Click Yes to start the installation.

- When the InstallShield Wizard appears, click
Next. If you use the Help Files, check the box
then click Next.

- When done, click OK in the Hyperion Interactive
Reporting Web Client Setup prompt. - If you get the Convert BQY File prompt, select
English and check the box below it then click OK.

- The folder hierarchy now remains visible when
navigating to different folders

- There is only 1 row per report

- You can sort by name, date modified, etc by
clicking on the column title. Click again to go
from ascending to descending and vice-versa. An
arrow indicates the current sort - You can adjust the column width by a click and
drag the double headed arrow.

- You can change the order of the columns by
clicking on the desired item in the Column Title
Bar and drag it to the desired location. - Hint! We recommend that you choose Name and
Description as the first two columns. - Use menu ViewShow Columns to customize further
your display.

- If you wish to change your default folder, go to
FilePreferences

- Changing your locale
- To change your locale, go to FilePreferences.
- Select Interactive Reporting
- In the Formatting section, click the drop down
arrow and select United States. Click OK when
finished.

- Favorites
- Are you running the same reports often? Rather
than scrolling through the folders to locate
them, use the new feature to add a shortcut to
these reports in your Favorites menu. - Adding a report to your Favorites- Highlight
the report by clicking once on it.- Go to
FavoritesAdd to favorites. - Accessing a report through your Favorites-
Simply click on the report name in the Favorites
menu.

on Excel or PDF according to your needs.
