- Land Forces Command is to provide the military
capability to conduct and support operations in
pursuit of the UKs Defence Aim in the right
place, at the right time, and in the most cost
effective manner.
3The Facts about Land Forces
- 90,417 regular soldier liability (9/10 of all
Army personnel) - Additionally 38,500 TA and 73,577 cadets
- 5,500 armoured and 33,630 non-armoured vehicles
- Trains on 200,000 hectares of land but our key
collective training is overseas - 22 of deployable personnel committed on
operations
