  • RCO Grant Workshops in late 2009
  • Letter of Interest Due around March 1, 2010
  • Grants Due in May 2010
  • Funding Approved by 2011 Legislature

WWRCs 2009 Request
  • In 2007 the Coalition persuaded the legislature
    to double the WWRPs two year capital
    appropriation to 100 million.
  • In 2009 we will try to institutionalize funding
    for WWRP grants at that level.

Recreation for Underserved Communities
  • The Coalition is requesting funds for a pilot
    project
  • Grants would be administered by the RCO
  • Policies would be jointly developed by RCO and
    HTF
  • HTF and CDGB grants and loans would be eligible
    for a match.
