  • 830am Staff Meeting (at least 1 advisor/pa
    must attend from your unit)
  • Flag
  • Girls put into units (there may be last minute
    changes to your group, please be flexible)
  • Take Attendance turn in to the Registrar
  • Check for any medications and give to First Aider
    (Marilyns Place)
  • Walk to your unit
  • Put away lunches in cooler
  • Have Fun
  • Go over the rules of camp (clothes, fire drill,
    buddies, lunches, mugwumps, fire drill, etc)
  • Work on Nametags
  • Pass out water bottle holders, help girls attach
    to their water bottles (label them)
  • Pass out T-shirts and remind them to wear it for
    pictures on Tuesday (best done at the end of
    camp)
  • Biffy Talk, hand washing, etc
  • Talk about Badge or Try-it to be earned at camp,
    allow girl input
  • Sing Songs (practice Squirrelly)
  • Tour Camp (optional)
  • Look at Nature (optional)
  • Check for Mugwump back at unit

Whats a Mugwump?

  • Daily Check List and Rules Do Bold Items
    Everyday
  • Monday
  • Attend 830 Staff Meeting at Flag (1 adult/PA per
    unit needs to attend all are welcome)
  • Make sure those needing bee sting kits inhalers
    have them.
  • Complete Attendance sheet and turn in to
    Registrar.
  • Turn in all medications to First Aider.
  • Remind Campers on medications to report to First
    Aid Station for doses.
  • Pick up unit coffin box from Supplies (shed up by
    Rafters)
  • Go over rules in Disciplinary Guideline and
    stress the GS Promise and Laws
  • Demonstrate how to clean a BIFFY (Bathroom in
    Forest For You) and proper handwashing.
  • Attach water bottles to water bottle holders
  • Camp Names select them Remember POSITIVE
    names. No duplicates within the unit.
  • Make and Pass out Name Tags
  • Review Try-it/Badge/IP requirements and ask for
    girl input
  • Review/work on Rainbow Progression
  • Tour Camp
  • Check for Mugwumps
  • Be Ready for a fire drill either today or
    tomorrow lets try to get lined up in 2 minutes
    or less
  • Check your watch schedule where do you need
    to be and when? Please be prompt!
