A repository of SME information (28,000 records)
for NE states, used to support outreach and
contact management efforts. Users can search,
create, edit and disposition SME profiles based
on MSCC criteria. Users can also manage SME
relationship using the directorys workflow
features.

center provides the primary communication channel
for development of SME relationships.

Each SME profile has a Profile Status indicator
which is used to control edit activity as well as
to indicate the SME Profiles relevance to the
MSCC program. Valid states are NEW Newly
created/imported profiles OPEN profile is open
for edit by 1 user CLOSED profile edits are
complete ONLINE profile approved by
MSCC OFFLINE profile not germane to MSCC

Each SME profile has an Enrollment Status
indicator which is used to control contact
activity within the MSCC program. Valid states
are UNKNOWN Newly created profiles PROSPECT
SME is qualified for review CANDIDATE SME is
assigned for contact/review ACTIVE SME has
agreed to participate/enroll INACTIVE SME
disqualified or not interested

A SupplyPoint user and MEP employee who deals
directly with candidate SMEs regarding
participation in MSCC. System privileges
SME Directory Field Agent may
create/edit/search SME profiles and update
Profile/Enrollment status. Can only self-assign
SMEs. Survey Center Field Agent may
create/edit/distribute surveys and view/analyze
responses.

A SupplyPoint user and MEP employee who manages
MSCC activities at the MEP level. System
privileges SME Directory Same as Field Agent,
plus may view all MEP assignments and assign SMEs
to other personnel. Survey Center Same as Field
Agent.

SupplyPoint Rules
  • Only one user can edit a profile at a time
  • profile must be closed and re-opened for edit
  • Only the current editor or Service Manager can
    close an open profile
  • All profiles are visible unless in the Offline
    state (Profile status)

How to login/logout/request password
  • Username first initiallast name . state
    (abbrev)
  • E.g. Joe Smith of Vermont jsmith.vt
  • Request password by entering your email address
  • Must be unique if you have more than one account
    (e.g. user in multiple states)

How to change password/update account
  • Select Account menu option
  • Change password
  • Click on Change Password link
  • Enter new password (twice)
  • Click on Update Password button
  • Update Account info
  • Edit individual fields
  • Click on Update button

How to review prospect and assignment lists
  • Login/select Main menu option
  • Page defaults to Assignments view
  • Select Assignments or Prospect Companies in
    pulldown menu
  • Click on Go button
  • Click on MSCC ID to view profile

How to qualify and assign prospects
  • Use search functions to find companies of
    interest
  • Search by city, zip, NAICS, product
  • Qualify each company of interest
  • Select company to view profile summary
  • If it meets prospecting criteria, click on
    Qualify button
  • Assign companies
  • View profile summary of prospect SME
  • Click on Self Assign button to self-assign
  • Service Manager may click on Assign to Field
    Agent button for list of Field Agents (and
    Service Managers)
  • Service Manager may choose one user for assignment

  • Create survey choose New Survey or Copy
    existing survey
  • Edit Survey Properties
  • Edit survey content add pages, items, logic
  • Test survey
  • Take survey, review content logic update

  • Activate survey and invite MSCC users to take
    survey
  • Review results, evaluate responses, update survey

How to distribute surveys analyze results
  • Click on Manage Surveys
  • Choose survey from list
  • Activate survey (otherwise no one else can access
    it)
  • Distribute survey
  • Invite survey takers enter email addresses of
    targeted respondents (e.g. SMEs)
  • Monitor response rate (and content) by email
  • Analyze results
  • Click on Reports
  • To Graph Results choose View Summary from list
    of surveys
  • To Inspect discrete answers choose View Responses
