  • The Problem- Brain Drain South Africas
    excellent allied health care graduates are
    aggressively recruited for foreign employment,
    leaving the domestic workforce depleted and
    unable to meet local healthcare needs in South
    Africa.
  • Solution Using the model successfully
    implemented in the Philippines, OWDG will work
    with South African universities, the S. African
    government, and foreign employers to establish
    increased recruitment and graduation of qualified
    graduates, meeting both domestic AND
    international recruitment needs, while
    facilitating scholarships for graduates who
    commit to two years of service in South Africa
    upon graduation.
