Supplemental Figure Electrophoresis of baboon
LDL. The isolated baboon LDL (10 ?l) was mixed
with 2 ?l Oil Red O for 10 min. The solution was
then mixed with 3 ?l OJ dye before loaded to 0.1
agarose gel and run for 60 min with the voltage
at 60 v. The native LDL in the first lane was
freshly isolated before dialysis and filtration,
which contained EDTA and BHT. The native LDL in
the 2nd lane was the preparation after the
dialysis and filtration so that EDTA and BHT were
removed. The oxLDL in other 3 lanes represents
different oxidative conditions and reflects a
small difference in the electrophoretic mobility.
