BROWNFIELDS JOB TRAINING GRANTS

• 2002-FBIC awarded a 200,000 training grant for a
  2-year period.
• Included a Hazardous Waste Track a Remediation
  Track.
• Each Track approximately 300 hours of training.

BROWNFIELDS JOB TRAINING GRANT

• 106 Participants completed 1 or more course.
• 7 Participants completed Hazardous Waste track.
• 16 Participants obtained related employment.

STATE AND TRIBAL RESPONSE PROGRAM

• 2004-FBIC received grant to enhance its
  Brownfields Program.

BROWNFIELDS TRIBAL RESPONSE PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

• Establish a Public Record
• Conduct a thorough survey site inventory of
  potential brownfields sites
• Conduct Public Participation
• Develop oversight and enforcement mechanisms to
  ensure response activities are complete
• Develop Cleanup Plan
• Site Specific Activities

SURVEY INVENTORY OF POTENTIAL BROWNFIELDS SITES

• Develop Inventory Field Sheet to document
  information on each inventoried site.
• Began inventories in February 2005.
• Inventories ongoing through FY06.
