  • Upgrade of systems to obtain tenders
    electronically by e-mail rather than using
    bureaucratic paper systems
  • Greater efficiency in line with government policy
  • Will be easier for the supplier saves having to
    repeat information
  • Guarantees delivery of your tender by the
    deadline

Time table
  • Adverts inviting applications will be placed by
    1st February
  • The tender system becomes live on Friday 1st
    February
  • Closes at 12 noon on 3rd April 2008

E- tendering
  • 1 You need to register as a supplier via e-mail
    quoting reference CCO411
  • Operational.procurement_at_bedscc.gov.uk
  • 2 You will be given a temporary password to
    enable you to log on
  • You will then be required to make up your own
    password - six characters or more
  • 3 Once logged on will have access to all the
    information i.e. specification, tender guidance,
    terms conditions etc.
  • It is recommended that you print off all the
    documents and refer to the instruction pack to
    navigate the system

2 Tender submission
  • The proposals will be submitted in a similar
    format to previous tenders
  • Each project will require a separate proposal
  • Each proposal must address the requirements of
    the individual project

Supplier - what do I have to do?
  • Fill in the application form
  • Formulate your tender submission(s) for the
    projects that you are bidding for
  • Complete these and submit via the system by noon
    on 3rd April 2008

    help-line
  • Instructions on how to use the software will also
    be issued - please print off a copy and refer to
    it as you fill in the application form
