An Historical Perspective
The Michael F. Price College of Business at the
University of Oklahoma is dedicated to the
preparation of future business leaders and
scholars through an innovative and engaging
educational experience informed by leading edge
research. 1923 - School of Business at
University of Oklahoma split off from Arts and
Sciences. 1924 First graduates with Bachelor
Degree in Business Science. 1925 School of
Business became one of 38 schools of Business
accredited by AACSB. 1928 - Enrollment in School
of Business increased from 100 in 1923 to 308 in
1928. 1928 MBA first offered. 1936 - Adams Hall
constructed and opened in fall 1936. 1997
Announcement of Michael F. Price gift and
renaming of college. 2005 Price Hall opened
