Protecting VC Student Kit content was the
ultimate goal
  • IP theft concerns led to a corporate policy to
    distribute only hard copy documents to customers
    / partners.
  • Shipping costs for student kits for virtual
    training program were too high. Shipping
    failures were equally high.
  • Management finally approved to distribute
    sealed presentation and lab guides.
  • Sealed files could only be opened, read and
    printed by designated student. Copying and
    further distribution was prevented.
  • End result Successful, low cost distribution of
    Siebel materials to customers / partners without
    fear of IP theft for virtual training content.

    shipments

  • Our primary requirement is that we wanted an
    offsite, ASP solution to keep initial
  • Investment and IT involvement to a minimum. As
    there was few choice, we felt we
  • made the right decision.
