Beach Measurement

• We measured the width of the beach

Conclusion

• In conclusion, we found that there was one
  major change - the width.
• According to old people around the area the
  beach is now closer to the main road than it was
  10 years ago. They also said that the sea level
  has risen, causing the reduction of the beach in
  size.
• Also activities such as dumping and burning of
  rubbish on the beach is also identified as
  causing the change.

Recommendations

• Notice board asking people to care for the beach
• Provide bins to dispose rubbish.
• Regular community patrolling and monitoring of
  the beach.
• Environment department to enforce an act ot stop
  people from burning rubbish on the beach.
