Lessons
In lessons at Woodland we still have English,
Maths and the normal subjects your child would
have had in lower school. Instead of staying in
one classroom you move around.

Lunchtime and break
At lunch time and break your children will be
playing in the year 5 court yard and the year 5
and 6 play ground, so they will not be with the
older children of the school.

Uniform
At Woodland we have a colour scheme of red and
white. Red jumpers, black trousers or skirts and
a white shirt. In the summer your children will
be allowed to were polo shirts instead of the
shirts and ties if they want.

Clubs
Your child will have clubs to chose from at lunch
and break and maybe after school. There are clubs
for every interest.

School dinners

• At woodland you can have a packed lunch and we
  also have the option of having a school dinner,
  you can even have a grab a bag, which is like a
  packed lunch.

Trips

• There are a variety of trips your children can go
  on, in year 5 the main trip you can go on is
  Shugborough were you do loads of fun activities.

Rules

• We have some rules at woodland middle and if you
  ignore these rules you may end up in detention
  which you do not want.
