Objectives
System Design
The first stage of the Design is to incorporate
magnetic reed sensors to monitor after hours
door access into the Lab. The sensors will be
used in tandem with a keypad to input arm and
unarm system commands to the MRK board. The
system employs several audible devices as well as
a timer and visual displays.
Create a security system capable of monitoring
unauthorized activity in the Lab. Use both
mechanical and electronic components.
Results
The system uses three magnetic door switches
wired to the MRK board in series. A keypad will
be used to send commands to the MRK board.
System program code easily modified to
incorporate several stages of security system
development.
