What is Employment Online?
- A technology enabled tool used to promote
qualified employees - from within the organization, when staffing
requirements - meet available opportunities. In addition,
Employment Online - provides employees the opportunity to refer
talented friends, - neighbors and acquaintances to National City for
employment - consideration.
- Employment Online provides an electronic means
for you to - Manage your resume and profile information
- Submit to job postings
- Submit resumes of your friends and family
members as referrals

employees can - Complete an online profile
- Upload and/or cut-n-paste their resume
- Complete employment forms online
- To submit an employee referral, current NCC

4Internal Job Posting Guidelines
Employee Experience
- Employees who meet the following criteria may
post for up to 3 positions simultaneously - In current position at least 12 months
- Employment status is in achieves/meets
expectations - Meet minimum qualifications of position
- Employees current manager will be notified by
Employment once an interview is scheduled
5Entering the System
Click here to create a new account and enter your
profile into the Employment Online system. A
profile must be created to submit to a job.
For return visits, enter email address and
password to enter the system.
To search for openings without creating a
profile, click here
To submit a resume to the system without
submitting to a specific job, click here.
6Creating a Personal Login
An email address (personal or work) is required
to create an account and submit to jobs.
7Welcome Page Options
From this page, you can launch a series of
functions allowing you to search for open
positions, input or edit profile information,
upload a resume, create a search agent to notify
you of future job opportunities, or visit your
list of selected jobs.
8Conducting a Job Opening Search
Enter all relevant information to your area of
interest. Press the Control key to select
multiple criteria.
9Viewing Search Results
Your search results will appear in date order.
Select the positions of interest and utilize the
command buttons at the top to initiate various
next steps, such as viewing job details,
submitting to a job, or saving to job cart for
future reference.
10Viewing Job Details
Submit to Job allows you to post for the
position. Save to Cart stores the job details in
your job cart for future reference.
11Applying for a Job Submit Resume/Profile
When applying for positions, you are asked to
provide a resume or create a profile. Once your
resume/profile are in the system, you can select
this without having to re-input when you
submit to jobs. Employment Online can store up
to five versions of your resume. The cover
letter is optional information.

Some information may be extracted from your
resume and entered into your profile. To
complete your profile, review and edit the
information, and add additional information as
needed. Remember to complete all three tabs
contact information, work experience and

18Applying for a Job - Confirmation
When the confirmation screen appears, your
submission is successful. A recruiter will be
contacting you shortly.
19Storing Resume(s) in Employment Online
You can store up to five resumes in Employment
Online. These can be updated at any time. In
addition, you can track which resumes are
submitted to specific job postings.
20Creating Search Agents
If you are interested in job opportunities not
currently posted, you can request the system
notify you when jobs matching your criteria are
posted. To do so, create a search agent. Search
agents can be modified or deleted at any time.
21Internal Job Posting Communication Guidelines
Employee Experience
- Employees submitting to internal job postings
will be contacted by a recruiter regarding
candidacy status within one week. - Employees current manager will be notified by
Employment of posting once interview is
scheduled. - Employees not selected for positions will receive
communication no later than one week from time
position is closed.

- Employee referrals are submitted to the
Employment Online system for consideration - Refer to GatewaygtHR Onlinegt Employee Referral
Program to submit a referral and for referral
eligibility requirements, referral rewards and
additional program guidelines.
