providing a consistent dosing reference for
medication administration, providing adequate

Infections by Utilizing Evidence-Based Practice - Purpose To determine whether or not a protocol
using silver alloy coated Foley catheters,
urinary stat locks, and staff education could
reduce the incidence of CA-UTI when compared to
standard urinary catheter protocols at SMC.
