The Helping Hand project

• In the UK, there is an abundance of
  opportunities available from various
  organisations Governments and private businesses
  to cater for individuals at various levels across
  the country.
• Conversely, there are also a growing number of
  disadvantaged individuals and communities that
  are unable to benefit from the opportunities.
• Helping Hand aims to gather information from the
  various government organisations and businesses
  with the aim to bring them to the disadvantaged
  individuals and deprived communities.
• Taking the opportunities directly to them and
  along with our support services are some of the
  unique services we provide to mitigate the risks
  they pose to society and help them to get a
  better future.

The idea of the Helping Hand

• The aim of the project is to provide a Helping
  Hand to deprived communities individuals in
  London with a view to providing sustainable,
  productive, positive developments, in the form of
  careers or business solutions that commensurate
  the individuals potential.

  potentials but often lack the consistent
  sustainable helping hand to enable them to

Knowledge transfer is vital to provide the
individual with the catalyst to boost themselves.

mental attitude and pragmatic Support in the
chase of their goals is crucially important in
sustaining their ability To stick to the plan and
sustain their efforts. Having someone to give an
ear can significant keep the focus going and
re-emphasize the commitment to chasing the goal.
Crèche for the sessions we hold, we can also
provide crèche facilities for single parents,
providing art, music, fun and games and lots of
activities. The series of activities that we have
are geared at entertaining the kids and
stimulating their interests.

Football training

• In collaboration with Universal clubs, the aim of
  football training is to engage the interest of
  individuals in regular football training sessions
• The regular training sessions will be followed by
  competitions are aimed at providing a plan of
  engagement that would refocus the individuals
  minds away from idleness and focused.
• individuals interested in pursuing a career in
  football will be engaged trained on using our ICT
  facilities to set up their profile build their
  resume and start booking appointments for trials

• For individuals who are interested in football
  solely for the entertainment value, they would be
  given the opportunity to pursue their interest
  with games and training sessions organised
  regularly.
• Football training is aimed to occupy the minds

ICT

• In almost all works of life today, ICT plays a
  very important role, Helping Hand provide
  various levels of ICT knowledge transfer for
  individuals who have chosen a career that
  benefits from ICT
• Each individual will be given a project their own
  project to self manage with the support of
  Helping Hand, the aim is for them to be able to
  use the project to showcase their experience to
  potential clients
• Each specialist area of ICT will also be able to
  provide their services to other projects in
  Helping Hand for example, if a ICT project is
  designs various databases, the individual will be
  able to provide that service to other areas of
  specialisation that require databases. Same goes
  for web design, customer management and other ICT
  functions.
• The reusability will also be utilised in other
  areas of the Helping Hand regions.
• The benefit of ICT and reusability elements is
  that it allows the individual to access ICT
  elements and also build their own clientele.

Information and resources

• Information is one the key to the functions of
  Helping Hand, especially information about
  resources and opportunities that are available
  individuals and communities.
• For each individual that we engage with we source
  information and resources from all the related
  government agencies involved and business that
  provided services that are related.
• the aim is to provide a mapping between the
  talent of the individual and the opportunities
  available
• Provide a necessary pre-requisites associated
  with the opportunity.
• From each engagement, we draw up a plan of action
  for the individual from the information and
  resources database and monitor the progress as
  the individual progresses.
• In association with Oguntala.com, the service
  will provide the ability for monitoring and KPI
  measurement.

Sports

• Sports in a very important factor in maintaining
  the motivation of individuals in sustaining the
  Helping Hand project
• Sports can also be used as a means of achieving a
  goal or objective
• Having the right mental attitude is one of the
  key items in being able to achieve a goal and it
  is for this reason that the Helping Hand has
  included the sports specifically.
• Health improvement is also another important
  focus for sports and it achieves this aim
  simultaneously
• Individuals who participate in the sports program
  and achieve an industry qualification will be
  given 1st preference in offering of jobs for
  sports in other Helping Hand locations.
• In association with universal clubs the aim is to
  turn minds away from crime into productive lives
  through sports as an interest and a career.
• All the Olympic sports would be covered as part
  of the helping Hand project thereby creating a
  wide scope for opportunities

Mentoring

• Mentoring provides the much needed support that
  individuals may need in order to sustain their
  commitment to the Helping Hand program
• The mentors would be able to share their
  experiences and challenges they faced, with the
  hope of being able to conjure up courage for the
  individual in their time of need.
• The element of the mentor programs personalizes
  the Helping Hand project for the individual as
  they will be able to see for themselves the
  impact that it project can have for their lives
  if they stick to it.
• The mentors would also provide tours for the
  individuals and show them the benefits of
  achieving their goals.

Crèche facilities

• The crèche facilitate is designed for single
  parents who have previously being limited by the
  lack of child care when looking for development
  opportunities
• Fun and games the facility is designed to
  stimulate the minds of the kids whilst their
  parents are busy with the Helping Hand
  workshop.
• For individuals looking for a career in child
  care, this would be the perfect environment to
  learn from an expert and build up the work
  experience need for getting back into work.
• Alignment with the regulatory requirement for
  child care means the facility can generate
  qualified individuals that will be re-used as
  part of our other workshops in the area.
