TIPS FOR WRITING A GREAT RESUME
  • Ensure it is prepared electronically in a common
    program such as Microsoft Word
  • Correct contact details are essential and ensure
    that if supplying an email that it is
    professional, e.g. not donkeyboy_at_hotmail.com
  • Next list your education and qualifications
  • Include a brief but inspiring career objective
    followed by a list of your experience in
    chronological order beginning with most recent
  • Include years and months, no gaps, they appear
    suspicious
  • Do not try and crowd too much on each page or use
    fancy fonts which distract from the information.
    SPELL CHECK !!
  • Ensure the contact details of two referees are
    included at the end
  • Written references and uni results can be brought
    to an interview

  • ADDRESS To the correct name, title,
    organisation
  • LAYOUT Introduction identification of the
