Child Assistance

• Coptic Orphans Reps seek out families who have
  lost one or both parents. Most of them have lost
  their fathers.
• Coptic Orphans provides them with the financial
  support they need till they graduate with the aim
  of keeping children in education.
• The Reps will visit each family on a regular
  basis to provide them with the moral support that
  all children need!

• To ensure the women of the future are equipped
  with the skills and knowledge they need to break
  out of poverty.

The Valuable Girl Project

• Its made up of big sisters and little
  sisters.
• Aims to provide the big sisters with the
  opportunity to become good role models for the
  little sisters
• Encourages the younger sisters to stay in school
  and teaches the big sisters essential leadership
  qualities

The Valuable Girl Project

• Big sisters are given a small amount of pocket
  money which they are encouraged to spend on
  activities for their little sister.
• Provides a network of support between the big
  sisters as they are the few girls in their
  village who chose to continue with their
  education.
• Currently there are 700 girls in the scheme. Our
  financial support can help include more girls in
  other areas of Egypt and help provide them with
  much needed books that are considered a luxury.

So where do we begin?

• Pray!!
• These children need far far more than financial
  support! They have grown up with very few choices
  and have had to cope with whatever situation they
  find themselves in. God alone can help them get
  over their experiences.

Sponsor a Child!

• A donation of 50 a month. Thats about 1.66
  day.
• This will provide them with all their education
  materials, clothes and food and any extras should
  they become ill for example.

• You can choose the gender and age of the orphan
  you can keep in contact with them through letters
• They also will send you photographs and letters
  updating you on their progress and you can
  arrange to visit them if you are ever in Egypt!

• There are approx 100,000 Coptic orphans in Egypt.
  Coptic Orphans currently serves 7,000.
• They want to help 500 more within another year.
• It can only be done by our help!
• You can choose a child the same age as your
  child!
• Maybe two or three people can agree to sponsor a
  child together

• The more people that are praying for Coptic
  Orphans the stronger the support and the louder
  the prayer!!
• Tell people who are financially able position to
  donate!! Relatives, companies etc.

• One- off donations can also make a difference and
  every little helps!!!
• If each of us donated 5 we could provide enough
  books to fill the shelves of a book fair which
  means thats one more town in Egypt where the
  children are given the opportunity to read!
