• English Immigration started between 1497 to
  present.

First Wave-1500s to 1760s

• The first English people to have contact with
  Canada was Explorers and Traders.
• These first contacts came between the 1500s and
  the 1760s.
• The Explorers and Merchants came because of the
  great hunting and fishing.
• The Explorers came in search of the Northwest
  passage.
• Between these times Martin Frobisher, John Davis
  and Henry Hudson all came.

Second Wave-1760s to 1867s

• Between this time the main reason for English
  people coming to Canada was settlement.
• There was four main groups of English
  Immigrants,Loyalists, Soldiers,displaced English
  workers and retired officers and gentry.

Third Wave-1867s to present

• Since the 1867s English immigrants coming to
  Canada have been very stable.
• Most of the English immigrants came to Canada to
  be farmers and settle on that land.

Conclusion

• In conclusion, many English people immigrated and
  settled in many different parts of Canada. This
  information holds reasons for English immigration
  to Canada and some of the times when they came.
