Purpose of PAT

• Bring the entire process for Projects/trips
  online
• Decentralize
• Provide something scalable that can grow as the
  projects grow ie. C4C had 200 on projects in
  06 and 300 in 07.

Benefits of PAT

• Applications are consolidated and easily
  accessible by Administrators and Project
  Directors
• Applicants are able to access information for
  themselves (ie support levels, flights)
• Applications can be processed remotely
• Crisis Management information is not lost in
  transit
• Search function is high and user friendly

• Program is user friendly
• Automatic interface with DASCO (and set up for
  Donor Direct) for financial updates for each
  participant (no more sending reports to Project
  Directors)
• Myriad of Reports for Administrators and Project
  Directors
• Adaptable and constantly changing for the better
• Development paradigm short development cycles
  resulting in new code into production right away
  no delays (except need programmers!)

• HR pulling previous applications
• Finance- used for all aspects of finance related
  to projects
• IT codebase used to develop new HR online
  application system

• Some staff use this tool for 80 or more their
  job
• 40 projects currently configured
• 800 applications in the system

Registrants for XX Project This report lists all
accepted project participants and their contact
information. It includes leadership, training and
intern ratings from the processor form.

Funding Status for XX ProjectLists financial
status of all project participants for the given
project.

Funding Details for XX Participant on X
ProjectLists the financial situation of an
individual project participant. Same information
that the participant sees on their participant
screen.

Travel List for XX ProjectLists all applicants
and their passport information such as birthdate,
passport number, passport expiry and passport
country. Useful for Administrators to have in
country for hotel check in.

Travel Flight information can be entered
directly facilitating easy access to itineraries.
Currently working with Envoy Travel to have
travel agent enter information directly into the
PAT.

Crisis Management for XX Project This report
lists all project participants, their emergency
contact info and relevant medical information.
Applicant information comes from the
questionnaires, staff information comes from the
HRDB.

• Permissions system improvements
• Efficiency of reports faster delivery
• Continual assessment of needs and development of
  additional features
• Caveat, need programming resources now to keep up
  and make continued advances.
