WHAT IS AN OWL PELLET?

• An owl pellet is the regurgitated mass that the
  owl spits up about 20 hours after it eats.
• After it eats , there are certain parts that the
  owl cannot digest.
• These parts, mostly bones and fur, are compacted
  and spit up.
